Saturday WI :)

Down 1lb this week, slowly but surely.

So revisiting last weeks goals :

-still get my exercise and running in
-done! I did extra miles this week 7 on Sunday, 3.4 on Tues, 6 on Thurs, Bodystep on Wed

-drink lots of water
-did well most of the week

-plan meals (mostly done)
-I did pretty good with this

-post some menus on blog
-got I think 3 days posted but I journalled in my book all week

I'm laid off again next week, but just for one week. Which means trying hard to get that water in.

This weeks goals:

get exercise in, try something different this week
water, water, water
plan meals and post menus
drink tea instead of coffee 2 days this week

On a sad note
My husbands cousin passed away this morning. Its so hard to see young people die and leaving loved and little ones behind. He was 44. My husband also had another friend pass away this week, she was only 37. Just gives me more reason to make sure I can do everything from my end to stay healthy.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband's cousin and friend. They are both so young.

Congrats on your loss and for meeting most of your goals! I am also going to try to drink green tea this week instead of some of my coffee. Is there any reason you are doing it?

Coffee is my special drink. I have it with cream and sugar, which is 3pts and there is alot I can manage with 3pts in food. This week I had it with ff vanilla cream, which was good but I'm trying to get that tea in. I can drink tea plain, which is so weird that I'm addicted to that cream with the coffee.

And I've read lots of benefits of teas, plus I think I have a tea emporium in my kitchen, orange, tai, chocolate tai, green, ginger, pepermint, white, lol. See I've tried to be a tea connesseur but it just hasn't lasted too long, lol.

Ha, ha - tea emporium! We are so alike when it comes to that. I have tried to drink tea, too. I am a coffee drinker for sure though. I heard green tea is good so I'm going to give it a try a few times this week.

I drink my coffee with either fat-free milk (2 pts for 1 cup) or light soy milk for 1 pt. I know what you mean about food trade-off though.

Congrats on the loss, and condolences on the death.

I am a coffee drinker , but a couple times a week I force myself to drink green tea because of the benefits. My coffee i drink with a teaspoon of dry milk powder in it for a creamy kind of taste. i used to adore flavored creamers, but when i started on this journey I just did not want to spend the points on it.

Great loss!! Way to go!!

Sorry to hear about your husband's cousin. Always sad but so much more when they are young.

Definitely is hard to see. I went through a period in my younger years where several young people in there late teens passed away and it was very hard to see. Certainly makes me want to try to do everything I can to live this life as long as I can.
Also thanks for the sweet comment you left about my workout video. I love yours below as well...definitely admire anyone who can run, let alone in the cold!

Great WI! You're doing awesome!

So sorry about your family's loss:(

I have to tell ya, I was thinking of you and your frosty eyelashes when I did my run outdoors yesterday morning! It was cold, but not as cold as what you have endured! So, your "frosty eyelashes" kept me going -lol!!
