-18C and I'm still running

Yes I did it, well actually on Tues I decided I'd do today's run outside, sick of that treadmill and really it can't be that cold out right? So it was a bit cold this morning for my run. I got all the upper body gear so really I was not cold AT ALL except for my bottoms, my fleece pants don't fit and they are an XL, oh well, more work and hopefully soon enough. My legs were so numb and I couldn't feel my bum (which by the way had icicles on it too!) So I was about 10min from my house when I looked in the window of a car and thought 'my goodness, people must think I'm crazy', poor dog walkers I saw, I hope I didn't scare them with my ice queen look. I called my husband and said get the camera you gotta see this. I get home and he's laughing at me, I'm laughing so hard I couldn't believe I looked like this. My girls are like 'mommy what happened to your face'. Husband says 'seriously did you throw snow in your face?' It was a good one that is for sure.
Looks like there is a dead animal on my neck! Just frosty hair, lol.
My eating is so good this week and I've managed to get all my exercise in as planned. I better be down this week, if not I guess I'll just keep on trucking but man today's workout ended in a great laughing session.

Oh, it was 6miles 1 hr and 13min. What I thought was weird was obviously I was sweating but I couldn't feel a bit of it. When i took off my wind jacket there was snow inside. I didn't realize I was working that hard. Thanks to fellow blogger Jason, a few weeks ago he wrote about heartrates and training. So my heartrate for today's run was around 150-155, when I run on the treadmill I think I just want to hurry up and finish as my heartrate on the treadmill is 174. So that is interesting and I'm glad I picked on up to monitor my hr more.
Well have a good day everyone, spring will come eventually :)

Awesome job! Our run was like that last night. We looked like snowmen but with reflectors and blinking lights so the cars could see us.

Crazy! lol I love the look, but have no idea how you breathe! :o ) I've tried running outside in the cold, but I end up wheezing and coughing for a couple days afterward.

Squishy, I wear a warmer thingy, its a wrap from my nose down and velcros in the back after about 2miles I'm pretty warm and take it off. I'm also a slow runner so that helps :)
