About a year ago in one of the many early-morning-rising-tv-infomercial-watching-moments, I got pulled into P90X. Did you know this infomercial is on virtually everyday throughout the night! So I've seen the infomercials numerous times. I wanted to get it, I want to look like they do, I was also quite heavy at the time and knew that I needed to be in much better shape. Its more for someone who already works out hard but is at a plateau and can't go past it.
Now I've not reached a plateau however, my body may be used to what I've been doing the last 6mths especially.
One morning in January, my lovely husband was the early riser and watched the infomercial and knew how much I wanted to get this program. HE was hooked too, he said he'd do it with me and off we went to go find one. It took about 2 weeks but we got the program and started it last Sunday. Now I'm not doing the eating plan that they recommend but obviously everything else. Still sticking to Weight Watchers, but I'm increasing my calories a bit to feed my body.
There are 3 programs to do, I'm doing the lean P90X right now, we both are. Its supposed to be the easiest program to do. Its about an hour (yoga is 1 1/2hrs) a night, 6 days. So I am tired because we get to it about 9pm, after getting up at 5-530am, its usually beddy bye time by than :). But we do it and although some things are really like wth? We are doing well.
This is why I'm struggling with the running but I'm hoping (and know) change is good. I will still try to get my runs or some of them in but I wanted to add some strength training, besides bodypump to my exercise routine. Thus I get this now.
We both like it, I feel good and strong and was surprised at how well I fair in the cardio and kick boxing DVD's.
So anyone else out there doing or have done it? What did you think?
That is it from me, have a good one :)

My whole body HURTS just WATCHING the infomercial!!! So, I will have to live vicariously through you!! In fact, I am still trying to BE YOU with my running! LOL!
Can't wait to hear about your fabulous results!
You know I'm doing it... and I LOVE IT!! Both BF and I are loving it.
The struggle is definitely finding the time. I dont' like doing long workouts like that later at night, but BF claimed the TV to do his workouts in the early morning (I am not a morning person so it works out)
Gotta love it!
BRING IT!
