Underestimated runs...

This morning I got to go for a run by myself, I thought I was booking it. I didn't really feel to great to start, but I pushed a little harder than normal. I thought I was running about 9km today. I finished my run in 45min. I thought no friggin way! That is crazy fast. Till I thought perhaps that is not right.

I don't have a garmin or some other sort of GPS, though it would be much easier. I use mapmyrun.com. So I check out my run only to discover that yes I was not even close to 9km, only 6km. And my old run that I thought was 5km was only 3.8km, ahh! I mixed up miles and kilometres...ugh. Oh well, I still ran, I still ran harder than normal, and all was good.

Happy Mother's Day to all moms, moms of furbabies, dads who are moms, stepmoms, and anyone else that is a mom to someone in some way. God, this is the toughest job ever!

Miles and kilometres - what a pain! At least your running. Who cares what the distance is :p

I'm just about at what your starting weight was. I wouldn't be able to run 6km let alone 9km. You're doing fantastic!

I've had that happen too - and it's alwasy a bummer! I can't even describe how SICK I am of mapping runs...now if only Garmins weren't so darn expensive!
And "m with Natalie - no matter the distance, at least you're still out there running!
