A class surprise

Yesterday morning I had to teach a Bodystep class, I really really didn't want to teach it for a few reasons. I mistakenly scheduled myself to teach but forgot it was my daughter's visit to her knew school at the same time, so I missed it :(. I haven't taught a step class since April (or taken one for that matter), I didn't study enough to teach it (choreography).

I showed up to the class a little unprepared and honestly thinking I should stop teaching step altogether. To my surprise there were 30 people there! Than I was scared because I only expected to see 10 or so and didn't worry if I made mistakes. I introduced myself as the absolute last resort for teaching the class, lol. They laughed and I hoped it would be ok. I was teaching one of my recent favourites which makes it easier to remember, and I did remember it just fine.

I was pleasantly surprised. I worked mine and their butt off, I had a few members come and say how much they liked it and how hard I was. My passion was revived and a class that I really didn't want to come to turned out to be so fantastic!

Daytime eats have been great, its the nightime munchies that are killing me. I get home a midnight and am usually hungry, I grab something healthy, than I grab something else and another thing. It adds up to too much. How do you put off night time munchies?

Glad to hear that you rocked the class and that others enjoyed it too! You're so brave to get up there in front of everyone, I don't think I could do it.

Have a great weekend!

I wish I had a solution to the night time munchies because I suffer from the same problem...only solution I've found is to remove any temptations and if all else fails...go to bed!

So glad to hear how much your class rocked!! :)

Working overnights I ALWAYS get the night time munchies! I try to make sure I either only have healthy options around or, even better, I keep myself distracted. I'll read, blog, something ANYthing to keep my hands & brain otherwise preoccupied. This week, at least, it's actually been working! :)
