Saturday WI

Wow, I'm up 2lbs this week. I feel really stuck at 190lbs right now, I've been here since February! This week I wasn't as diligent with journalling. Hence finding my journal in the backyard soaking wet, but at least I was trying, haha. Even my husband was surprised that I gained. There are however a few things that I did this week that were different from last. Thus I'm really starting to learn what works. (After soo long doing this, lol)

This week my supper plans were:

Monday-smackeroni and cheese
Tuesday-Indian Applelous
Wednesday-chicken breast, veggie, sweet potato
Thursday-Easy sloppy joes
Friday-portabella pizza

The week before was:
Sunday-pork tenderloin
Monday-penne with peas and ricotta
Tuesday-Tuna Quesidilla
Wednesday-Jambalaya
Thursday-leftovers
Friday-fish

So I think I need to keep more fish in my diet and easier meals. I like to try different things but maybe I should only try new recipes once a week. And make lighter dinners. I also noticed that this past week I didn't eat too many fresh vegetables as a snack like I did the previous week.

I've lost 46lbs and its taking my almost 18mths. I still need to lose another 40lbs and I hope it doesn't take me that long. When I look at it that way it still seems so far away. I don't want to be the size I am now but sometimes I feel like I don't want to be doing this any longer. Maybe I just need to get to 185 and that will motivate me again. Back when I started I gave myself 5lb goals, so here goes. When I get to 185lbs (5lbs away), I will get a pedicure. Let's hope this works.

You are doing awesome. These 2 lbs will be off in no time. How about doing salad with grilled chicken or easy refried bean fajitas. Easy meals are key for me.
Losing 46 lbs is AWESOME. It doesn't matter how long it took, the main thing is that you lost it, and that you are maintaining the loss. Try not to put so much pressure on yourself. Journaling is key for me too. Just have to do it to stay on track.
