I think my kitchen is mad at me for some reason. On Thursday we came home from work to discover the freezer portion of my fridge had popped wide open and was like that for 9hrs! Thus leaving me with lots of defrosted food that either had to get cooked soon or thrown out. Yesterday I had gone early to get groceries before my meeting and swimming lessons. I had my list but still forgot major things like garbage bags and bottle liners. So at nap time I put some of the defrosted chicken in the oven and ran out to the store again. When I came home my hubby said 'hey can we just go out for dinner tonight?' I said why and this is what I came home to:
And that glass was stuck there in the chicken juices! What a mess. I think my kitchen was telling me its time for spring cleaning.
Much better :) Although I lost the chicken and the other chicken I was to cook last night. We went out for dinner and I had a thai chicken wrap instead.

Oh my !!!!! I take it that it was a glass pan ? I had one shatter on me in sort of the same fashion in the past. The reason is something called thermal shock. In orde for it to happen conditions have to be perfect, so instead of thinking your kitchen is screaming clean me, consider it may be trying to say you are special !
Sarah, OMG that's a crazy coincidence! Or is it? I wonder how many other people this happened to? I think an email is in order or letter for sure!
