Finally!!

I finally got a decent run in, woohoo! I pretty much neglected my running, not doing what I have scheduled for the last month. My last long run was about a month ago of 8 miles. I've been running at the gym but lately could only bear 10min at a time before I had to walk. I was a little nervous I'd have to walk today as well, thinking I lost some stamina. Nope, I was just bored on the treadmill. I got 4 miles in today no problems and will resume my training this week. I just didn't want to up it right away, so I did 3 miles on Tues and Thurs and than 4 today. So I think I'm ok to resume.

I almost didn't track yesterday because I went to Sister in laws for dinner and had desert, but I decided to track it, the only way to be honest with myself. I used 16 flex points which is something I needed to do to hold myself accountable.

Today I'm doing well but honestly I'm a bit hungry.
Breakfast was oatmeal with pb and milk 5pts
snack banana 2pts
snack before run banana bread (not the best but doable) 3pts

lunch was a cantaloupe bowl with 1/3 cup ff cottage cheese and a naturlia yogurt 5pts
(which ended up being a shared meal with my 2 daughters, lol)
dinner was beef stirfry with brown rice 8pts
snack veggies with dip 2pts, coffee with hot chocolate 1pt
Total of 26pts, 1 left over and no flex or AP used.

Daily points...I've finally stopped nursing for sure, so my points are now set. I'm also laid off for a month from work so I'm subtracting 2 daily points per day because I'm no longer that active throughout the day.

It's so tempting not to track when you've gone a bit over where you had originally planned isn't it!

glad you did though. It feels better after almost to track it though eh!
