Recognizing those that fight for us

Today is Remembrance day here and Veteran's day in the States. When I went to the football game a few weeks ago, the announcers asked for all vets to stand and we would pay our respects to them. I got teary, I looked around and there were many of people standing. It was very moving. The only person I know that was in a War is my Grandpa, but as I looked around there were many, many people my age and just a bit older standing. I can't imagine leaving my family to go to a war zone and these people do it. Some do it many times, for their country, for their families. They sacrifice their lives daily and for that I am very grateful for. I may not agree with this current war but I very much respect the people that are over there and risking their lives, something I could probably not ever do.

Thank you to all !

I feel the same way you do, I'm not behind the war but I know many people/families that are putting their lives on the line for us. Those people and all veterans deserve to the recognized for their dedication/bravery.
