I need help, blogger question
How do I follow a blog? Can anyone help me?
Since they changed the format for following blogs I can't seem to figure it out, loading in email address, etc. It used to be so easy. Why do they need to complicate things for us non-computer people?
Sarah - There are a couple of ways to do this now...
First, when you are on someone's page and they have the "follow" widgit (that shows all of the people that follow them w/pics), there should be a "follow" button that goes along with this. Just make sure you are logged into your google/blogger account and it *should* ask you if you want to "follow publicly" or "follow privately". After you click on this (typically most choose "publicly"), the blog should show up in your "Reading list" under "blogs I'm following" when you log into your blogger account as well as your picture should appear on their blog followers now.
The other way to do this is a little more complicated. First log into your blogger account - go to the dashboard and click on "add" underneath the tab "blogs I'm following). Then in a seperate window, locate the blog you want to follow. When you have located it, highlight the blog address at the top of the screen (starts with an http://). While highlighted, right click on the address with your mouse and click on "copy". Then go back to your original screen (where you have already clicked on "add") and in the add box, left click to create a cursor there and then right click and choose "paste". The blog address that you were just at should appear in that box now. At this point, you should be able to click on "add" and it will then ask if you want to follow "publicly" - after you click on "ok" (or something like that) it should appear in your "blogs i'm reading" list.
