Happy Easter and getting back to running.

So I decided that I felt really chubby and needed to get out for a run. When I was thinner I'd get these feelings every so often but while I've been losing weight I haven't run into this problem until this week's weigh in. I remember thinking to myself "wow I feel really flabby lately" a lot more than usual. So today I decided I was putting the girls in the stroller and we were going for a run. I've been holding off because...well they tend to fight being so close to eachother. But we made it through :)

I told my oldest that I was making a special running backpack for whenever we go running. She could bring her snack, drink, books, bubbles, whatever to keep herself happy. With a promise of a newish park about halfway through. I got to do a 6K run with them. So hopefully I can keep this trend up as I need to run, I just feel better and slimmer with running. I haven't run so much lately because I've been doing the P90X but its not the same cardio as running. I like P90X but its just a different workout.

So here we are at the beginning of our run. It was wonderful. When I started I looked at my watch and saw only 4min had passed and thought 'I'm going to dread this', lol. But like I always say the first 2miles are so hard for me. The other thing was my oldest daughter saying "mommy go super fast"...if only I could :) Great run today, now to get back on track with eating tomorrow. I definitely had a food hangover this weekend.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their families.

great job feeling the ICKS and doing something to change how you felt!

It's so hard with kids huh? I know I never appreciated the fact I culd yank on the shoes and just GOGOGO!---until I no longer could.

Wow that's so awesome!! I never thought you could do more than like 10 minutes when running with kids. This just makes you so ultra-awesome and fabulous for setting this example for your kids!
