I love Jamie Oliver

If you haven't watched Jamie Oliver's new show Food Revolution, get to it. Its disgusting how these children are eating and also how close minded people are. Its very sad and I hope that even just a little change will come. And I'm kind of in love with any man that has an accent, lol!

I have to say one of the saddest things I saw was that the elemetary school didn't use forks and knives! Jeepers! They said they were too young....I have no words except...wtf??

I couldn't believe it when they showed them serving pizza for breakfast. Seriously... wow.

If you want to become even more horrified, consider that in many school districts in the country children re not allowed to bring their own lunch, and are forced to eat whatever the food service provides. The high school students of the Chicago Public School District are organizing a protest demanding that food be made on site, include numerous fresh foods and vegetables, come from local sources, are organic and include a vegetarian/vegan option. They are also demanding that PE classes be improved- many districts have done away with PE in favor of higher test scores.

Incredible, I am completely shocked. For me it seems so strange to have to eat what they give you as where I went to school, elementary school had no cafeteria and in high school you only bought things if you wanted too. Bringing your own lunch was just normal here. Very sad.

I just watched the preview episode and was absolutely amazed by how rude and unaccepting to change several of the people were. Plus, pizza for breakfast? Really??? I don't have any children so I don't know, but are our school cafeteria's in Canada like that too? I hope not or my child is being home schooled.
