A couple of weekends ago we took a little field trip to an old homestead where there was a small maple syrup festival. It was quite interesting for us adults but for a 2 and 3 year old it didn't take long for them to want to run around. It was a beautiful day. We still had snow, it was sunny and around 10C, perfect syrup weather! My favourite was the maple taffy in the snow, delicious!
