I did 10K today, it was a little tougher than usual as of my lack of running. I did do some walking in the run but overall I did it! I also opted to wear one of these:
I haven't used the full belt yet. I would put one of the waters in my pocket but that was it. It wasn't a long run but I did drink 2 bottles, which I think helped keep me going.
I finished my run as it started to rain...bonus! I don't mind running in the rain but it would have been chilly.
So how did my run go? A little too much info here but as you know I've been a little under the weather. Feeling pretty good now, but I still have a cough and when I started my run I got a runny nose. I did not have kleenex. So whats a girl to do? Yes I blew my nose on my sleeve...and wiped it in the grass....eeew! So gross but I was determined to get this run in. Sorry for tmi but I just had to share, lol. After the first km that was thankfully over with.
Later in the day I decided to hit up our local running store for some things. I got a pair of recovery socks and some beans. I'll review both later.
Have a great night.

YAY! Nice work on the run!!
Can't wait to read about the recovery socks - I've been super curious about them!
Wow a huge 10k run!!! My bff and I walked about 8k today...cannot imagine running for that long! You're amazing!
Awesome!!! I am going to have goggle recovery socks....I have never heard of them before.
good for you for getting out there even though you are sick.
Haha I wipe my nose on my sleeve all the time when I'm out running. Gotta do what ya gotta do, right?! ;)
I'm thinking of upgrading to that fuel felt. I have one from the RR that has the one bottle that sits on your lower back and I think I'd prefer that one so that I can have h20 and juice seperate.
Don't feel bad. The same thing happened to me today. I had to blow my nose in my sleeve b/c I didn't have any kleenix with me. :( At least I waited until my way back.
