Go to the Bulk Barn. For those who don't have this great store (far and few between for me to have great stores, lol). Essentially its a great place to buy bulk...flours, cereals, spices, organics but also the worst place for a dieter with lots of chocolate, candy and cake stuff.
After my WI on Saturday, I went and taught my Bodystep class. On my way home it was naptime for my girls, so not to disturb daddy and them I got a carwash and ....went to the bulk barn (big eye roll). Now I gained almost 2lbs that day and I go to this store and walk out with reeces pieces, licorice and rosebuds. Great example I am leaving with all this crap and wearing my workout clothes and Goodlife (gym I work at) jacket...NICE!
I continued this thoughtless eating for the rest of the weekend. Monday morning was not pretty as I checked the scale and saw an evil number of 192!! But it was also a slap in my face to get myself out of this pitiful party. Back to better, smarter eating and exercise.
I'm happy to say I ate well yesterday and well today. I also got a 6K run in and a walk to the park with my girlies. Now I really need some coffee to get me through the rest of the night at work.

Way to put an abupt halt to the pity party. It's demoralizing to put up a bad number at weigh-in, but digging the hole deeper doesn't help anybody (except possibly the Bulk Barn owner).
Sometimes it helps me to just break it down to one good day. Try to put one good day together, then go for a repeat tomorrow. Looking too far down the road can be too hard sometimes...
Good luck.
I love the bulk barn. It's so bad it's goooooood. SO thankful there isn't one downtown or I'd be in BIG trouble.
Good on ya for the run and getting back on track!
I give you a lot of credit for being honest. You have proven that you know what to do. I mean, you've lost 50 lbs and you teach a really hard exercise class and you can run 6k. Wow. I'm impressed. Way to getting back on track!
Thank you for all of the nice comments you leave on my blog. You seem to be the only one out there. I really really appreciate it.
Cheers! :)
The bulk barn is the devil!!
Way to go for getting back into gear!
