Staying healthy

It was my birthday on Tuesday and really it was not that special of a day. I worked, than I got nauseated. I also got it on Sunday. My reaction is panic. I've seen too many young people get sick lately and so I think the worst of the worst is happening. After I worked I went to the ER (because I couldn't see my doctor for another week) and waited forever, 7hrs, for them to tell me it was a pinched nerve. Wednesday I go about my normal things, still feeling like I have motion sickness. Today it got much worse. Now I'm not as panicky because I thought well, if they just fluffed it off it can't be that bad, however I don't like feeling this way.

Off to the clinic I go again to see what they say. I waited a whole 10min, yeah! The doctor looked and said probably inner ear infection, looked at my tonsils and said 'oh my you have tonsillitis too, a large infection' (of which I couldn't feel, so that is good). I got my antibiotics and I feel about 30% better already. Thank goodness. :) No more boat riding feeling.

There you have my exciting birthday. I'm disappointed that the ER just fluffed me off after waiting that long (and it would have been longer if I didn't ask) to give me the wrong diagnosis. I love nurses and doctors but this was a bummer. Seriously who wants to be in the ER on their birthday for no reason. Yes, I was a paranoid mom of two little babies thinking only the worse but isn't that what mom's do? I didn't think I was as bad as the dad bringing in his son at midnight for a stupid sliver, now that is silly. The clinic doctor said not to worry that even doctors feel the same way, he said he thought he was having a stroke one day but it was also an inner ear infection. Now I don't feel so silly when doctors think like us regular people too :)

This weekend I'm hoping to do more exciting things or at least staying healthy :)
