The crazy people you meet at the gym...

I'm leaving the gym this morning, my almost 2 year old is at the walk through and I'm lugging my baby behind. A lady was going to go but than said go ahead. As I grab my daughters hand she said "oh you have your hands full, certainly go before me." Than I notice she has on a lulu hoodie, the lady is maybe 60, I just thought it was amusing: 1. A 60yr old wearing a hoodie (nothing wrong with it just not something I see everyday) 2. A 60yr old wearing a hoodie that costs close to a hundred dollars. So I am actually wearing a lulu sweater too, she says "OMG, someone else in W------ owns lululemon?"
"Yep"
"Where did you get it"
"TO"
"Yeah, blah, blah, blah...." whole schpeal on shopping at lulu

As we are out the door she says brings up the whole BPA in lulu's water bottles and how she will be going to TO to get herself a SIGG water bottle. Seriously?!?!? I tell her she can get stainless steel container at such and such a store here in W-----.
"How much?"
"I paid $30 but I've heard they are down to $18 now"
"Well the SIGG's are about $25, I'm going to get that one"
Whatever lady. You go ahead and continue with your "gotta have the latest and greatest, most popular, most expensive things for whomevers sake." Nothing wrong with this but seriously my mom wouldn't even have a clue to what these things are and she's younger. Also its not like this lady is a trophy wife and has lots of shopping to do, to me she just seemed like a regular joe.

Seriously trying to make a super long story short
Lady continues to tell me how she had to join the gym and is very upset, she had a car accident a few years ago so she hasn't been the same, her daughter goes here but its her daughter's time so they can't work out together because you know she has 2 jobs, she doesn't drive so she has to get the bus here, she had a pulmonary embolism a few months back! and is very busy, she can barely keep her house in order with all she has going on, so coming to the gym is difficult.
Yes a run on sentence for a run on conversation. Why do some people feel the need to tell you their life story? I don't get the verbal diarrhea at all. Sure share something with someone but I honestly just met you and aside from the lulu and joining the gym our conversation was done so 5min ago! On the nice side, maybe she's lonely, and I did give her my full attention for probably 15min but still...

Meanwhile I have my two babies with me, at lunch time and close to nap time. My sister says I'm too nice and I just listen to this women ramble on but really I find it hard to just say well nice, gotta go.

So just one of the many crazy people we meet at the gym. Will I ever see this lady again? Sounds like no, she just joined and was already making excuses for not to come. Maybe a blessing in disguise, or maybe she'll be a gym stalker and follow me around :)
