I've been working out a lot but just not getting anywhere. My weight is 188lbs, still trying to lose the 5lbs I gained from last weekend. My measurements are pretty much the same as well.
March April June
waist 38 38 38
hips 44 43.2 44
chest 40 40 40
thigh 24 24 23
arm 12.8 12.5 12.2
I don't really understand why exercise is so friggin easy for me and the eating is the most difficult. I know discipline, will power, etc. but with food this seems so impossible for me. Yesterday I taught 2 classes, than this morning I was up and at them to run a hill run, I believe to most people this seems an impossbile feat but I just do it. Why does food have to be so hard??

It is tough to stay on track in the food department. I have been good 99% of the last 3 months by planning all meals and not bringing anything unhealthy through my front door. Thats one of the advantages of living alone.
Maybe a food journal will help you? Writing down everything you eat after you eat it no matter how small. Just a thought.

When you find out why, let me know :p
Food is my vice too. Always. I find it extremely difficult to take in enough calories to maintain my activity level... which leads me to being hungry and eating crap :(
Sorry but I have no answers for you!
I hope you figure it out though.
For a second there I thought this was a post about me....I'm soooooooooo with you.
If you EVER find out the answer to this question you better let me know!
You are a rock star!
Because it tastes so good!!! I think everyone has their own way of handling food. Mine is that I don't mind eating the same thing for lunch everyday but I eat the same time everyday and now my body tells me when it's time to eat. Maybe if you can get into an eating schedule it will help you. I've also read you need to sleep enough to hold off cravings and I know your schedule is crazy sometimes! I find when I don't sleep enough I can't control what I eat.
I agree with Massive Marcus. I suppose it really is a matter of meal planning and not buying ANYTHING that is out of your eating "plan". ( so hard!)
But also you ARE working out like crazy, and I find that the more I work out the more food I want and NEED to eat. Your aggressive workout regime might be upping your appetite big time!!?
I probably sound like a broken record but I still believe that the true key to weight loss is staying within your 1200-1500 calories a day NO MATTER what. (UGG! it's so hard some days but for me it's the ONLY thing that works!)
