Hot and muggy

So strange, I feel this should be my title everyday. This summer has definitely been a good one for anyone that has a pool (not me :() BUT if you do have a pool its been useful in our area. Another hot one this morning. I got up, not hungry because I had some late night chips (I know....) So I went for a 12km run on empty. I brought a peanut butter larabar in case I got hungry but all was good. I finished my run with an ice cold.....water and gatorade. I got home and had some oatmeal with sliced banana and vanilla almond milk.

Bad news I think I got a blister on my baby toe :(. I NEVER get blisters on my feet. After my run I was a sweaty mess, my quick dry pants tights were visibly wet (eww) but a good sweat is good for my head and patience too.

We had some tornado warnings here but thank goodness it was a false alarm (car fire).

Dinner was pork tenderloin, asparagus on the BBQ and some greek salad. Oh and toasted greek pita with taziki (yumm!)

I'm staring at laundry and its not folding itself so I best be getting to it! Have a great night!

I don't know if I could handle 12k without eating anything first. 5k is about all I can make it through without any fuel beforehand!

That greek salad looks great - wanna share the recipe?!

I know what you mean about the hot and muggy weather! Its hot here too, and stormy.

I always find that if I eat late at night I wake up ravenous, not sure why but I do, its horrible...go you on a 12k on empty, lol.

That plate of food looks absolutely delicious!

ugh.........tornado warnings are never too much fun at all. What kind of socks do you wear. I have found by changing my socks that even a marathon or longer will not produce blisters. I use these really thin moisture wicking socks.
