I think I'm officially Tim's free

Its been about 3 weeks now since I had my last Tim's. Isn't that crazy! Now I have resorted to getting Second Cup or Starbucks 2x a week but not the everyday coffee I thought I always needed. (However not saving any extra cash).

My hard part is when I go to work in the afternoon. That 230 till dinner is hard for me sometimes. So the majority of the time I've been having flavoured tea. Its warm and gives me something to satisfy the need.

Surprisingly I don't feel too tired either. Now I need to kick some other habits...chocolate would be wonderful to lose :)

In other news, my WI had me up almost 2lbs today :(. Ah well, I still went to the meeting after debating I knew I gained and would be happier not seeing it.

***Why did I give up Tim's? The biggest reason for letting go of my daily Tim Horton hit was because I cannot drink it without cream and sugar. I LOVE how it tastes. My sister suggested to just drink it with milk, ick, not worth it for me. I LOVE cream and sugar but its oh so bad. So that is my main reason.***

Giving up caffeine was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I would give up one cup at at time, with several weeks in between reductions. Are you trying to give it up or just cut back?

Celestial Seasons has some really good holiday teas out that have no caffeine. That my be a suggestion for your mid-day needs.

Good luck!

Congrats for breaking one habit! I have a starbucks treat once in awhile (that's a lie, once or twice a week), but make sure it is something like a non-fat latte. If I do indulge in something else, I check the calories online first, as I find some of their drinks can be totally deceiving.

You are strong, I don't know that I could ever give up my Timmy's. Though honestly I usually make it at home and just drink it black. Are u trying to give up caffine, or the habit of buying it, or the sugar/cream?
