Its much harder than I thought. This week I had some success at it, I hope I can continue. I focused on my discipline and got up every day at 5:20 am to workout except for Friday.
AND...
I avoided my daily trip to Tim Horton's. This in itself is a feat! I've tried many times before and only made it 2-3 days. This week I did have coffee but not from Tim's. I had coffee as a treat and not a need. I even normally buy a coffee after WI on Saturdays and I avoided the urge. Why did I give it up? Aside from the health reasons, like green tea is better for you, I cannot have coffee without cream and sugar. I don't eat sugar substitutes and coffee with milk is not worth it for me. Thus 3 pts every day for just a drink is not worth it.
The results this week, even with last nights Christmas party, I was down 1.2lbs. Pretty good. I hope to continue the trend, although my schedule will be different as I'm working at night the next 2 weeks. We shall see if I can rise early and get a workout in before my day starts. I think I'll be able to do it.

You had a great week!! Sometimes it's the little things that add up. However, getting early is major :)
Think of all the money that you're saving from the lack of Tim Horton's runs too. You can buy yourself some new clothes, something for your home or put it away for a rainy day.
I used to drink coffee with sugar and cream too until I started working at an office where no one used sugar. I actually go used to it pretty quick. Surprising, isn't it. I still love my low fat half and half. Some habits are harder to break than others. LOL!
I can't imagine giving up my Tim's - you're a stronger person than I!! I know it is a waste of points, but....
Good on you. I don't love Tim's, but I love a non-fat Starbucks Latte. I love it a lot....That would be a good habit for me to break, but I guess I don't want to ;)
Congrats on the good week!
It's so great that you are avoiding not only sugar but sugar substitutes. Artificial sweeteners are super toxic!
