Got a run in yesterday, 40min and I felt great afterwards. I really contimplated napping or running but hubby told me to go run. I really need to get in 4 runs a week of at least 40min. I can run with my babies but really its much more fun by myself. My oldest whines most of the time for either her daddy or to go to the park.
I also tried to pick up my pace, I ended 30sec faster than the last time, which is alright.
I am finally starting to feel the runner's high I've longed for!! Instead of feeling zonked to the world from being tired, I had great energy and was definitely happy to just get it in. It was a little warm, but really I love running when its hot out. I'm opposed to the fan in the gym while running, so this weather we have is great for me.
After completing my run, I grab a cool glass of water and sit on my porch. Feel the humming in my body, that would be the fat cells zapping right? lol. But it is a great feeling and need to get it more often.
