The official recount

I've been having some problems with determining my points allowance per day due to nursing, not nursing as often, etc. So what I was doing was cutting my points in half that I was allotting for nursing (I would get 10). Once I returned to work I nursed a little less and dropped my points I ate to 4. Now I'm only really nursing for comfort and I feel I'm not needing the points at all. So I decided to go to my week 1 book and redo my points to make sure I was aiming right. Well low and behold I was way off, by 7pts! I was giving myself 34pts a day and I should have only been eating 27 or generously 29 pts a day! Wooah that is a huge difference!

I've now adjusted to 29 and next week I'll go to 27. Wow what a difference that makes, I will miss my extra points I was eating for the whole year but I'm looking forward to even more weight loss and of course the new Momentum plan on Saturday's meeting.

Now on Oprah, everyone is talking about her announcing her 40lbs weight gain this year. I like Oprah, some things are a little too much, but all in all I enjoy her show when I can see it. I feel sad for her, not that she has the same struggle as more than half of North America but that she has to do this in public. It has got to be so difficult to have to look at magazines, tv shows, pictures, etc with your face and body on it knowing that you are unhappy with how you look. Or focussing on how to live your best life and actually not being able to do it. Her website is promoting the new shows for the second week of January. It will be interesting to see how she will tackle this new weight gain.
