This is how my knees, ankles and hips feel....crunch, crunch, creek, squeek.....ow,ow,ow,....run, run, run. I have never been in this much pain from running. It is really a bummer. I feel like I'm 50yrs old. My muscles aren't hurting, I like my muscles to hurt. Its just my poor ol' bones.
I never really thought that my muscles had good memory. But after returning to step from being off for 9mths, I wasn't sore. So strange. Than I started running and I was sore the one day and that was it. Now I haven't done any heavy weight training so I haven't experienced that yet. But I was quite impressed with my muscle memory, however trying to find something that will challenge them is getting to be difficult with this pain.
So my plan this week, (because I don't want to stop), is to maybe run on Sunday, see how it goes. Otherwise I'll do the same plan on the eliptical. Just for this week, and I adjusted my Friday workout (where I got the bone pains to begin with) so that the cardio portion is done on a machine and not polymetric training to save my knees. We'll see how it goes this week.
WI is tomorrow since today was a holiday. I'm hoping for something good. I checked a few times this week on the scale, I hate jinxing myself but fingers crossed.
