I apologize for the sporadic blogging, but last week something fell into my hands and I decided if I want to see some changes I've got to try it. So last weekend I started the Insanity! And I committed myself to try this crazy workout and I kept at it for the whole week. Along with my running (that has fallen slightly) but still managed 3 runs and taught 2 classes. And what else goes with the Insanity workout but doing it at insane hours. I've been working at night this week, 3pm to 11:30, thus instead of catching up on blogs when I get home I am doing this workout. I think the latest night I did it was 12:30am....INSANE is right.
So what do I think? This is not a workout for most, it is brutal and tough and if you are not already in pretty decent physical condition...it is a heartattack. BUT I really love this program. I love to sweat, I love to work my ass off and I need to do it quickly. The workouts this week were no longer than 40min, pure awesome for me. I tried P90X but found it just too long for every day, I still do some dvd's some days but this new workout is fantastic.
How I feel while doing it? We'll just say that my swearing quota (which is rare) goes up tenfold while doing this workout.
Results? I've already noticed my stamina has increased. I've upped my weights in my Bodypump class with no problems. I feel great, hungry a lot. I feel I'm losing inches. We shall see how tomorrow goes for my WI.
So this is where I have been lately. My intense exercise this week is about 3 hrs with my moderate at 3hrs, before my intense was maybe 1-2hrs a week. I love how the X-Weighted challenge can chart this for me. Now to catch up on some blog reading and watch the opening ceremonies, so far my fav is the fiddlers!

I've heard so many good things about Shaun T's workouts ... but I'm too terrified to try any of them! LOL!
