Some days aren't made for running

Tuesday morning I did a 5K run and it felt like crap. I could barely catch my breath and the worry wart that I am I thought something was wrong. I thought 'Well I'm lighter than last year and I used to be able to run much farther, with a double stroller! Something must be wrong.'

Yeah I was exhausted.

Today I did an 8K run and it was great. I could've went longer but didn't plan my route that way. I could breathe great, I was faster. I did today's 8K in almost the same time as Tuesdays 5K.

Solution, I did the 5K just 12hrs after I did some heavy duty working out: step, pump, plyometrics. I decided that my body must have been too tired to push any more energy out.

I'm very happy that today's run went well and I feel back to almost normal again. Now I just need to get some longer runs in :)

Eating is going well, as you can see with my June goals my water is slagging big time. Why do I think water is so hard to get in?? I'll get it.

at least you did a run with lil to no energy...you are awesome...

i also hear you on the water thing...i've resorted to filling up a plastic bottle and adding in crystal lite, so that i'm at least getting in liquid...that has helped for an additional 4 cups of liquid...bringing me up to 8 in total everyday!

Weird! I wonder why that happens, too. Some days I feel like I could run forever, other days I feel like I can't run more than 3 minutes! Crazy!

Like your new blog look!!
