Catching up

I've been taking lots of pictures but haven't had time to post the food. I got a run in this morning. I tried the infamous (my version) of a green monster after my run. I didn't need coffee today!!
Last week I got a new Weight Watcher scale at my meeting. I'm doing ok with it, you can type in the food on the scale and it will give you the points. Its pretty neat but I'm still getting used to it.
Lunch was fiesta chicken soup. I got the basics for the recipe was from a Cooking Light magazine. My variation: saute shredded cooked chicken breast with taco seasoning (1 tbsp) in a pan.
In a pot I put a container of chicken broth (4cups?), white kidney beans, 1 cup of spinach, 1/2cup salsa
Added the chicken to the soup and simmered for 20mins. 3pts for 1cup
Dinner was whole wheat pasta, saute veggies, can of tomatoes and 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese.
My girls are not eating any of my food lately, not sure what is happening with them. I was so busy the last few weeks with school that they often had mac and cheese and Dora spaghetti O's (I know, how dare I) So now my oldest asks for that. We did have great success with this last night though:
The pita pizza not the salad, lol.I will just keep trying different things for them, although I don't think I will go to this extent again:
They were pretending to be dogs licking craisins off the floor, seriously I do feed them and my floors are not something that should be licked :P

How did you like the green monster. I really like my version.

That scale looks really cool. I kinda want one now.

Your food looks delicious and now I am craving pasta with ricotta.

I also bookmarked the recipe for the cosmic cookies you talked about the other day. They sound/look good. I went to the bulk barn last night and bought all the ingredients I need to make them. Can't wait to try them.

Sounds like you found Will?

That pasta looks yummy and the pizza totally reminds me to pick up cheese for our nan pizzas tonight!
