On today's Oprah, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed her secret to losing those pesky 20lbs from her second pregnancy...her fitness trainer Tracy Anderson (http://tracyandersonmethod.com/). She came out with a glowing tan and sparkly teeth, she looked like she just walked off the beach. I'm not normally gaga over Gwyneth but she looked like a breath of fresh air.
So the good stuff, what does she eat? Anything she wants and dessert too, no meat from four-legged animals though.
What does she do? Works out for 2hrs/ 6 days a week...for peets sake I didn't even do that when I was single. (I did do a lot of 2hr workout days but not 6 days a week) With 2 kids and a trainer there to boot...I know to be a movie star. But really if you're working out that much you better change your body shape, especially if your starting weight is Gwyneths'.
What her trainer said: Women should never lift more than 3lbs for their arms. (roll of eyes) maybe if you start super thin but really every single person is different in how they build muscle and lose fat. This remark just gets to me, now there will be all these women thinking that anything more than 3lb weights is going to make them look like Arnold which is not humanly possible. What about the 22lbs kid in one arm and the 30lb kid in another? I should be made of steel,lol.
