I think another reason I have a hard time losing weight is lack of sleep or lack of a full REM cycle. I'm working nights so I get home at midnight and of course I want to watch the end of the Biggest Loser. Nonetheless, I was in bed by 1:30am to be awaken 3 times by my lovelies....sigh. Once at 2:30am, once at 4am, once at 5:15am than my alarm for 7:15. This always happens when I work nights, they do wake up periodically when I'm at home during dinner/bedtime hours but moreso when I work till midnight. By Thursday and Friday I'm pooped beyond belief.
Another thing I find it hard to control eating when I'm this tired. But I will try harder.

I got tired just reading about your wonky schedule. Be careful, because it's really hard to make good health a priority when you're scrambling around like you are. Maybe you need to call in sleepy one day... :)
Waking up with the kids is so rough! I finally got the 8 year old to mostly sleep through the night! Now...I still wake up through the night because my body got so used to it! UGH! This is why coffee is necessary for Moms. :)
Hang in there, Sarah! You can make it through this! Try planning a few meals ahead and have them ready and waiting for you. That way you won't be as tempted to dig around for something else!
I understand. I'm one of those people who always eats more than I need when I am sleep deprived. I find that extra sleep does allow for eating less, but I am a freak of nature and can get away with only 6 hours a night (when I'm not pregnant that is).
Best of luck this week trying to make it all work!
