Worked my butt off

Down 2.4lbs this week, mostly due to working. Although I was really good with eating in the latter part of the week. The first part consisted of cake and ice cream a few too many times, but I'm really glad I got a handle on it and got myself down.

I'm doing a 1/2 marathon training which I got from the runnersworld site. You put in your last say 5K run time and what you want to train for and they will set you up a scheduled run. And we all know I need a schedule to run. Anyway this week was 2 long runs (well long for me) 6miles on Thursday and 7miles today. I'm a little worried next week because I have to do 7miles on Thursday and an extra running day on Friday. I need the schedule but 3 days was perfect not sure on 4, even though its a quick on that day. This past week I was working 3pm to midnight so running was easy, naptime for the girls. This week I'm working 7am to 4pm. The running at night will be a challenge, I'm a chicken to be honest. Last week when I was running someone squealed their tires as they drove by and I jumped. Not good to let you heart skip a beat when your pace is going. The adrenaline goes to all the extremities and then you feel exhausted. Than I jumped another time when someone started up their leaf blower, geesh I am a nervous runner for sure. Oh and this was all at 1 in the afternoon!

So my option, do I hit the gym and run on a treadmill? Probably what I will have to do but I can't see running on a treadmill for an hour and a half. We will see what happens.
