I love that it is getting light out at 5:30am, thus I was able to take one of my early morning workouts outside! I usually quietly do something in my basement for 30min but this week I looked out the window and said to myself "self you may run outside" (I'm terrified to run in the dark, the boogie man you know!). And so off I was slowly but surely jogging along. I hear a car coming up behind me, I'm about 20 feet off of the road on a nicely paved path, I also hear this weird clicking sound. I look to my side and sure enough a dear was startled and running full out down the road!
I have never seen a dear in the city, let alone running down the road, I do live in the outskirts but still! It was something to see.
