Yes I've been gone for a bit but I think I'm getting back into the groove again. I just have to get that exercise in and I will be feeling A-OK!
I have to thank you for all the great, inspiring comments on my last post. It really made me think, feel good about myself and my success thus far, not feel like this is easy and just that you care. This IS hard. But I am getting there, slowly but surely and learning along the way.
My goal last year was to run a 1/2 marathon coming up in the next month. Unfortunately life gets busy with the little ones and working. Running time slowly diminished to none (or I'd be too tired to push anything out). I'm a little disappointed that I won't be able to do the run this year but I plan to do it next year. I don't regret it though, because the time I've been able to spend with my kids has been so wonderful. I figure they are only this little for the shortest period of time and I need to make the most of it. So with better planning and hopefully help from hubby I'll be able to make this goal in the future.
On to today, one day at a time. Eating went well. I found I was absolutely famished by lunchtime at work, so that may take some extra snacking or higher point food before hand.
So getting out of the rut has been hard but I think I'm almost to the surface :)
