Seriously...LIFE slow down please!
Had a great morning today. I woke up early but relatively on my own, I never noticed how much this affects my day but it does. Sure I was woken by a small child crawling into my bed but then I ducked out and she remained asleep. The other one woke about 20min later but it makes a world of difference to have a few minutes pre-dawn to yourself.
Then I was off for a run, I like these runs because its just however long I want it to be not a set amount to do. Today I did 9km and it felt amazing. I even had a person from work ride their bike next to say hi and chat for a bit so not to hold them up too much I picked up my pace and kept it there for 3km! I was surprised I did that with relative ease so I will have to pick my pace up a bit. Its funny because I am always so slow to start. My first 2km were run in 8min by the end I was doing them in 7min.
Trying to stay on track with eating and....not doing too well with it. Every day I say I will buckle down today and that just doesn't happen. So I will keep trying, those 2 bite chocolates really suck though, lol!
I hope everyone has a great Halloween night!

I do enjoy morning peacetime. ;-) That is so cool to me about keeping up with a bike AND those mile times... I can't wait to be putting in times like those!!
On my nights off I used to be able to wake up before everyone else and would go for a walk, grab some coffee, and just enjoy the wee small hours. Lately, though, my body has decided that it wants to stay in bed as much as possible.
I totally understand when you said you say you will buckle down, but it doesn't happen. I've got to figure out how to just do it, not just plan it or think it. Tonight for instance -- I'm meeting a friend for coffee. I'll be home late. I will probably get home and think, "I'll just run tomorrow." NO! I need to get on the treadmill tonight...even if it is 10 p.m.! Ugh!
