My sister got married on the weekend.
This is myself and one of my sisters, my dress did fit and lots of people loved it, still a little snug but God bless Spanx (on both of us!).
And I thought this picture was super cute. Yes my daughters went to the reception, they were the flower girls and the wedding was out of town with all my family there, so really no one could babysit them. I was one of those people. But honestly we were hidden in a somewhat separate room and they didn't disturb anyone, we were there until midnight and I still enjoyed myself and the girls had a blast.
We did dance for a few minutes, this was so fun! The little one was busy doing her own thing below.
Other things:
I found out on the wedding day that a friend of mine from high school passed away sadly to cancer, she was 33. Here is my question, do I attend the funeral? I always feel so weird about funerals. I hadn't spoken to her since highschool no reason just seems to happen sometimes, except briefly on facebook and sent her money for a fundraiser, however she was in my group of friends that had lunch together and hung around. So, what do you think, should I attend the funeral or would I be out of place? Such a terrible thing to happen to someone so young (to anyone in that matter)...sadly these things that happen to people my age really puts things in perspective of what is really important and what is trivial in life.
Cancer sucks!!!!!
I don't want to end on depressing news so....Thank goodness for March, bring on spring and flowers and green grass and warmth!!

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've also had the horrible experience of losing many people to cancer, one in particular far too young.
I would say do what makes you feel the best. If you're not comfortable going then just remember her in your own way and feel good about that.
*hugs*
